Former Orgeon State student Kendra Sunderland made headlines in January after a video was posted to PornHub showing the 19 year old masturbating in the university’s library during a cam show. The video spread quickly on the OSU campus, leading to an investigation by Oregon State Police, who cited Sunderland for public indecency, a charge which could land the 19 year old up to one year in jail and $6,250 in fines.
Sunderland was arraigned last Thursday at the Benton County Courthouse, and formally entered a not guilty plea despite admitting that she was the girl in the video. The state has requested that the court not allow cameras in the courtroom to cover her case, arguing that Sunderland is profiting from her charge by the media sensationalizing her case.
Days before her arraignment, Sunderland was in San Francisco shooting a four page photo spread for Penthouse magazine. She’s also signed a deal with FriendFinder Networks to create PlayWithKendra.com. FriendFinder CEO Ken Hawk told reporters the deal could be worth as much as six figures, and ensured that unlike Sunderland’s previous cam work, her solo shows moving forward will be done in private locations.
Sunderland has also signed a deal with a Canadian company to launch the website “Date Broke College Girls” aimed at helping college students connect with Sugar Daddies willing to help them out financially so they don’t end up “getting naked in the library.”
Sunderland is due back in court on April 28, but she’s hoping to resolve the legal case before then, so that she can continue to move forward with her life.
